Tim Slaven, Ph.D. professional career is in the behavioral health field. While not a professionally-trained photographer, he has been making images since high school. His photography training has been through summer workshops at the Santa Fe Workshops, Rocky Mtn. School of Photography, and Woodstock School of Photography. His eye and inspiration came from his Father who was a World War II photographer. As a child, his home was filled with stunning monochrome photos of diplomats and USO show celebrities. Tim lives with his wife in the Richmond, Virginia area.
